Hi all,

This coming Friday, September 14th, yours truly will be recreating our recent trip to Paso Robles for those of you that want to enjoy it again and for those of you that couldn’t make it. All the wines will be from wineries we visited or were at the Winemakers Cookoff. The plan is to taste the Midnight Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, the Robert Hall Viognier, the Vina Robles Syrah, the Norman Monster Zin, The Peachy Canyon Westside Zin and finish with the J Lohr 7 Oaks Cabernet.

The presentation will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class costs $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food in the valley at any wine tasting. Even though we had a nice crowd, both in size and in manners, and numbers weren’t a problem, I am going to say this anyway, we have been having larger than expected crowds lately so we are limiting attendance to 45 guests.

Please take notice if you didn’t catch this last week. We are going to present The First Annual Sunday Wine Challenge on Sunday the 30th of September. We will donate one dollar for each of the first 100 bottles purchased between 3 & 5 PM to the Santa’s Secret Shopper. I hear that someone has come forward and will donate $2 per bottle for the second 100 bottles. The first 20 people to purchase a bottle will get a lovely wine gift bag from Lisa T’s Party Shop. And there will be door prizes and pizza from Oscars. You can still get 10% off if you buy a case. Get a jump on your holiday wine shopping and help out some needy kids.

Keep smiling,

Liza and Bob
