We will be starting December with a Wine Class and Scott from Southern Wine and Spirits will be doing the presentation. That’s all I know at the moment as Scott and I either didn’t talk about the wines or I forgot what we talked about. That will be Friday, December 1st.
The presentation will start promptly at 5:30 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class cost $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try a half a dozen wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food in the valley at any wine tasting. Let me know what you think about changing the start time to 6 PM.
We have a new feature called a “blog” on our web site. For you that are like myself that don’t know about blogs, it is a line of written conversation where you can make comments, ask questions or the like and anyone will have the opportunity to comment or answer. It is pretty neat.
A friend of ours, Joe Chun, owns Celsius Sushi Bar over across the Tatum from Desert Ridge. He is going to do sake tasting on Dec 2 at 4 PM and should last an hour or two. There will be 20 different sakes and an assortment of appetizers. There is a $30 cover charge and very limited seating. His email is above so you can let him know directly.
I am SOOO bummed! I REALLY wanted to learn more about sake, but can’t come to the tasting on the 2nd because of my “office” Christmas party. Will you offer this again, sometime in the future?
We vote for 6 o’clock.
