Hi all,

WINE TASTING – We’re going to Washington to get out of the heat. Well at least we’re going to taste the wines from Washington. We’ll try the Hogue Genesis Riesling and Merlot with the Steele Aligote sandwiched in between then on the Syrah, a red blend and the Cab from Novelty Hill. Ron Feczko from Republic National will take us on the trip.

The presentation Friday will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class costs $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food at any wine class in the state. We are limiting attendance to the first 45 people.

MUSIC – Bryne Donaldson and his sax will be here this Saturday, June 6th. Then he’ll play again on July 11th, which isn’t the first Saturday of the month but you can see why. The music will start at 7 PM. We hope to see you then.

THANKS – Mona survived her first wine class with us! Thanks to her for showcasing some fine wines and thanks to all of you that came to the class.

And a special thanks to Linda for putting on the “Night at the movies” where we watched “Bottle Shock”. She raised a few hundred dollars for her Secret Santa charity and everyone had a grand time.

OTHER – Canelo Hills is having a “Malvasia by Moonlight” in Elgin to celebrate the release of their three new Malvasia wines. Call 520 455-5499 to make your reservation. $45 gets you the tasting, the food and wine pairing, a souvenir glass and a 10% discount.

There is an Arizona Wine Club. Visit www.azvinowineclub.com to join. You can get three Arizona wines shipped to you or you can pick them up at our shop three times a year.

We have always given a discount of 10% if you buy a case (12 bottles) of wine. Now you get the discount when you buy only 6 bottles.

You may have noticed that we have some wines on sale up at the front of the shop. These are excellent wines that are the older vintage or one that we can’t get more of or such. And you can save a few bucks off our already great prices.

We have WiFi available in the shop if you’d like to use it. Just ask for the password.

Have fun,
Liza and Bob
