Hi all,

There will be a wine class this Friday, July 13th. Simon from the Cape of Good Hope Wine Company is in town and going to show us some of his South African wines. I know there will be a really nice white we’ve had before called Angel Tears, a fine Pinot Noir and a big Cab from Hoopenburg. The other three will be a surprise to all of us. Simon knows the wines really well and is a fun presenter.

The presentation will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class costs $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food in the valley at any wine tasting. Liza is back doing the food this week. Karen Radke of Cooking From the Heart will be doing the food next week on the 20th.

We have been having larger than expected crowds lately so we are limiting attendance to 45 guests.

Last chance to join us for Fine Wines And Facials. Heather is going to do it this Thursday, July 12th at 6 PM. For $10 you get to do a wine tasting as you get a facial and a microdermabrasion skin treatment. Each time we have done this it has been a lot of fun. One of our favorite customers and friend is raising money to go on the Arizona Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk in November. We are trying to help out by collecting donations for her. For a $20 donation we will give you a “Save the Boobies, Save the World” t-shirt. You can see the shirt hanging up in our shop.
