Hi all,

WINE TASTING – Craig is back! This Friday, July 11th, he will be talking about an eclectic mix of wines. We actually have had a chance to make the selections and decided on a Prosecco to start. Then we’ll try a wonderful chard from Hawkes, a mystery wine (I wonder what it will be) and then the Mosen Cleto (yes, the one we’ve had and loved before). To finish we’ll try a pair of great wines – the Duende Tempranillo and the Waters Interlude. It should be fun!

The presentation Friday will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class costs $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food at any wine class in the state. We are limiting the class size to 45.

MUSIC – Bryne Donaldson’s next gig will be this Saturday, July 12th at 6 PM until 8:30 PM. No cover and no minimum. Just come in and listen to some really great sax.

Bob and Dwight are playing in Chicago on the 19th of July so pianist Jacob Koller (remember him from when he sat in for Bob Ravenscroft a couple of months ago?) will play with bassist Chris Finet on the 19th. Mark your calendars!

WINE TRIP – The 3rd Annual Cave Creek Wines Wine Trip is full and we are leaving on July 25th so there will not be a wine class that Friday.

NEW – We’ve got a terrific new wine for us from Beaulieu Vineyards. It is their 2004 Reserve Tapestry and is tasting great!

OTHER – We have WiFi available in the shop if you’d like to use it. Just ask for the password.

We have a new edition of the publication called Arizona Vines and Wines. It has a lot of information and is beautifully done. Look for it by the cash register next time you check out.

Have fun,
Liza and Bob
