We’re still faced with that “Cadillac” problem (which is much preferable to the “Yugo” problems I’m used to). Thanks to the several of you that have offered some suggestions. Some we have tried before and some were new and are being considered. Again our apologies to those that we had to turn away but there were too many people for Liza and I to give the good service that you deserve. If it was true before that you needed to show up early it is really true now. We are going to cap the number of attendees at 45 so please understand and please plan accordingly.

This Friday, January 19th, Chris Hamilton, the owner and winemaker of Rancho Rossa Vineyards down in Elgin, will be in our shop to show you his wines. These are his first vintages and they are great! Several of you have tried and loved his reds which include a Syrah, a Cabernet Sauvignon and a port-like Grenache. We’ll also be trying a couple of his whites, a Sauvignon Blanc and a Cuvee. His Syrah won the Governor’s Choice Award last year as “The Best Red Wine” in Arizona.

Thanks to Scott for doing the presentation last week. And remember on February 2 we will have Stuart Blackwell from St Hallet Winery in Australia in. So mark your calendars as attendance is limited.
