Hi all,

WINE TASTING – None this week with it being Labor Day and all. The next wine class will be on Friday, September 11 when Kelly from Alliance Beverage will be back.

Our apologies to Laura and all her fans of Zahtila Vineyards wines. We didn’t anticipate the enthusiasm so we ran out of wines. For those that placed an order the wines will be delivered Tuesday and the discounted prices will be honored.

MUSIC – Bryne Donaldson and his saxes will be in the shop next from 7 PM to 9:30 PM on Saturday, September 5th. Plan to come and listen to some great music and have a good time.

THANKS – Thanks to Toby and Tim for bringing us some really nice wines to try. The obvious hit was the 3 Doves Merlot and it will be back in stock Tuesday.

OTHER – Linda and her Secret Santa’s Shoppers (a charity for children’s shelter) is going to have a fundraiser on Wednesday, September 16th. It is going to be called “Wine on Wed” and will be a blind tasting. The WINE is FREE but you must have a little class and Donate for your Glass!!! There will be prizes, raffles, trivia and of course munchies.

There is a local guy that takes our empty wine bottles and turns them into recycled wine bottle glasses. They look great, are now dishwasher safe and help the environment. We have them for sale in sets of four, with or without our logo, for $20.

We have always given a discount of 10% if you buy a case (12 bottles) of wine. Now you get the discount when you buy only 6 bottles.

You may have noticed that we have some wines on sale up at the front of the shop. These are excellent wines that are the older vintage or one that we can’t get more of or such. And you can save a few bucks off our already great prices. Of course the selection is always changing.

We have WiFi available in the shop if you’d like to use it. Just ask for the password.

Have fun,
Liza and Bob

Hi all,

WINE TASTING – Twice this week! Again!

On August 26th, this Wednesday, Laura Zahtila of Zahtila Vineyards will be in the shop at 6:30 to talk about her wines. It looks like we’ll have her Beckstoffer Cab, Dry Creek Zin, Napa Cab and Napa Chardonnay. These are some really great wines, as you will see. And it is free!

And then on Friday, August 28th, Toby from Action Wines will be here for our regular Friday wine class. We’ll be trying the Schug Chardonnay, the 3 Dove Merlot, the Schug Cabernet Sauvignon, the Ballentine Zinfandel and then finish up with a couple of Gemtree wines, the Bloodstone and Uncut. It should be fun!

The presentation Friday will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class costs $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class (usually six) and compliment them with the best food at any wine class in the state. We are limiting attendance to the first 45 people.

MUSIC – Bryne Donaldson and his saxes will be in the shop next from 7 PM to 9:30 PM on Saturday, September 5th. Plan to come and listen to some great music and have a good time.

THANKS – That might have been the best wines we’ve ever had at a wine class! And thanks to Ron from Republic National for that. Thanks to all of you that showed up for that and for attending the Tolosa tasting on Wednesday.

We have wine shipping boxes. Most have Styrofoam that surrounds each bottle inside of a cardboard box. They come in 2, 4 and 12 bottle sizes. And they are FREE!
