Hi all,

WINE TASTING – Since you deserve nothing less than the very best, I’m going to do the presentation this Friday, June 26th. Well maybe the fact that I couldn’t bribe, cajole or threaten anyone into doing this one may have had something to do with it. Anyway we’ll be going around the world when we try the Cloudline Pinot Gris from Oregon, the Artesa Chardonnay from Carneros, the Tre Donne Barbera d’Alba from Italy, The Victory Zin from California, the d’Arenberg Stump Jump Shiraz from Australia and the Thelema Mountain Vineyard Cabernet from South Africa.

The presentation Friday will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class costs $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food at any wine class in the state. We are limiting attendance to the first 45 people.

MUSIC – Mark your calendars as Bryne Donaldson will play again on July 11th. It isn’t the first Saturday of the month but you can see why. The music will start at 7 PM. We hope to see you then.

GOLD – On Wednesday, July 8th from 5 to 7:30 we’re sponsoring a gold party where you can turn your old gold jewelry into cash. More info to come.

THANKS – We had a full house again with lots of new faces! Thanks to all of you that came to the class and thanks to Cindy for doing a great presentation. And our apologies to those that couldn’t get in but we are limiting attendance to 45 so those that are here can enjoy themselves.

OTHER – We won’t be having a wine class on July 3rd but Ron will be back on the 10th. Of course we will be open so please stop by if you’re in the neighborhood. With no wine class coming up I probably won’t be doing this email newsletter next week. And I’ll be in Vegas visiting family.

There is a local guy that takes our empty wine bottles and turns them into recycled wine bottle glasses. They look great, are now dishwasher safe and help the environment. We have them for sale in sets of four, with or without our logo, for $20.

There is an Arizona Wine Club. Visit www.azvinowineclub.com to join. You can get three Arizona wines shipped to you or you can pick them up at our shop three times a year.

We have always given a discount of 10% if you buy a case (12 bottles) of wine. Now you get the discount when you buy only 6 bottles.

You may have noticed that we have some wines on sale up at the front of the shop. These are excellent wines that are the older vintage or one that we can’t get more of or such. And you can save a few bucks off our already great prices. Of course the selection is always changing.

We have WiFi available in the shop if you’d like to use it. Just ask for the password.

Have fun,
Liza and Bob

Hi all,

WINE TASTING – Ron Feczko from Republic National did such a great job at last Friday’s Wine Class, he’s coming back again this Friday, June 12th. Only he, Liza and I know the wines we’ll be trying and we’re keeping it that way. I can tell you they are all red and no wimps in the bunch. The tasting will be blind. It should be fun!

MUSIC – Bryne Donaldson was great! Thanks to him and thanks to all of you that showed up. It really was a fun musical night. He’ll play again on July 11th, which isn’t the first Saturday of the month but you can see why. The music will start at 7 PM. We hope to see you then.

THANKS – Ron from Republic National covered up my inadvertent switching of the wine order on him and generally did a wonderful presentation. And the Washington wines were great! Thanks to him and to all of you that came to the class.
