MUSIC – On Saturday, January 3rd, Bryne Donaldson will be here with his sax. Remember that we have live music on the first and third Saturday of each month. Mark your calendars! We have changed the music start times on those Saturdays to 7 PM so they can play to 9:30.
OTHER – There is an Arizona Wine Club. Visit www.azvinowineclub.com to join. You can get three Arizona wines shipped to you or you can pick them up at our shop three times a year. We are going to have a special Arizona wine night on January 30th. Chris Hamilton of Rancho Rossa Vineyards and Winery will be here with a few other vintners to show us some of there excellent wines.
There is going to be a wine maker’s dinner at Skye on February 12th. Chef Scott Tompkins is doing the food and Kenneth Schilling is doing the wines. It is $120 a couple and starts at 6:30. We have a flyer with the details.
We have always given a discount of 10% if you buy a case (12 bottles) of wine. Now you get the discount when you buy only 6 bottles.
You may have noticed that we have some wines on sale up at the front of the shop. These are excellent wines that are the older vintage or one that we can’t get more of or such. And you can save a few bucks off our already great prices.
We have WiFi available in the shop if you’d like to use it. Just ask for the password.
There are a couple of wine lockers available for rent by the month ($7) or by the year ($84).

Hi all,
We are open on Christmas Eve and on News Year’s Eve until 9 PM. Then we are closed on Christmas Day and on New Year’s Day.
WINE TASTING – No wine class on the 26th, nor is there one scheduled for January 2nd.
MUSIC – On Saturday, January 3rd, Bryne Donaldson will be here with his sax. Remember that we have live music on the first and third Saturday of each month. Mark your calendars! We have changed the music start times on those Saturdays to 7 PM so they can play to 9:30.
THANKS – Thanks to everyone that showed up on Friday for Ron’s wine class and on Saturday for the live music. I’ve never heard better, jazzy versions of some of your favorite Christmas carols. It was great!
OTHER – We had the drawing for the bike and Jessica Lord won! Her winning ticket number was 765. There are some consolation prizes that haven’t been claimed. A box of four glasses made from wine bottles go to ticket 802 and a bottle of Bohemian wine goes to tickets 798, 799 and 807. Bring your ticket in and claim your prize!

We have a couple of new wines in the shop. York Creek Cuvee One is back in stock and a wine called 4 is brand new. It is a great tasting Cab in a tube. It holds the equivalent of (4) 750 ml bottles and sells for $40.
There is going to be a wine maker’s dinner at Skye on February 12th. Chef Scott Tompkins is doing the food and Kenneth Schilling is doing the wines. It is $120 a couple and starts at 6:30. We have a giant poster beside the bar.

The wine totes are here. And they are great! They have individual pouches for up to six bottles and we’re selling them at cost, $2.50 each, to encourage you to get one. Then each time you buy 2 or more bottles and use your tote, we will give you 25 cents off your purchase. That will save a few trees along the way. Please participate.

Hi all,
WINE TASTING – Ron Feczko is going to do Cabs at the wine class on the 19th. Well, we actually are going to start with some bubbles from Domaine Carneros before we try cabernet sauvignons from Hayman & Hill, Rutherford Ranch, Joseph Carr, Main Street and Coppola’s Director’s Cut. At the end of the presentation we will be giving away the bike that is hanging from the rafters by the cash register. So buy your Bohemian Highway wines and get your tickets.
For most of you that show up early for the wine class, the price is still $10. For you that can’t show up so early, you can reserve your place by buying a ticket for $20 on the days before the wine class. We will have 45 tickets available each week and if you have a ticket you are guaranteed a place, even if you show up at 5 or 10 minutes before 6 PM.
The presentation Friday will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. All the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food at any wine class in the state.
MUSIC – New hours! On Saturday, December 20th, there is going be another great night of live jazz. Bob & Dwight will be playing some more jazz for us and they are recording their sessions. Mark your calendar! Remember there is no cover and no minimum. Just come in and listen to a couple of really talented musicians play some really great music. We have changed the start times on those Saturdays with music to 7 PM so they can play to 9:30.
THANKS – Thanks to everyone that showed up on Friday and we certainly appreciate your patronage!

Hi all,
WINE TASTING – Scott is back! He’ll be showing us some really great wines from around the world this Friday, December 12th. We’ll taste a German Riesling called Clean Slate, a Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon from Rote One (I think that is what he said), a Malbec from High Note and a pair of Shiraz. Excellent wines all!

THANKS – We had a nice crowd on Friday for Devin’s farewell presentation. We wish him the best. And Bryne rocked the house on Saturday night. Thanks to everyone that showed up and we certainly appreciate your patronage!

We’re giving away a bicycle! The basic idea is that when you buy a couple of bottles of the very reasonably priced Bohemian Highway wines, you get entered in a drawing. They have a Pinot Grigio, a Sauvignon Blanc, a Chardonnay, a Merlot and a Cabernet Sauvignon for less than eight dollars each. Just before Christmas (yes Matilda there is going to be a Christmas this year) on the 19th of December we will have the drawing and someone will win the bike. It is the kind you pedal, a “cruiser”, and not the kind your favorite lawyer rides. And a portion of the proceeds are being donated to Linda’s Secret Santa Shopping Spree.
