Hi all,

Yes there will be a wine class this Friday, July 27th. Danielle Loveall will be here to show us some of the fine wines that Diamondback represents. We’ll get things going with some Italian bubbles to show you this is the perfect time of the year for them and then we will do a great Sauvignon Blanc and Jim Norman’s Chardonnay. For the reds we will try a couple of red blends and finish with a big Cab from Washington.

The presentation will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class costs $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food in the valley at any wine tasting. Jamie, another personal chef, will be doing the food this week. Come by and see what he can do. You might to use him to do a special dinner for you.

We have been having larger than expected crowds lately so we are limiting attendance to 45 guests. Thankfully there were only 40 people that showed up on last Friday. I’m 0 for 2 with my last couple of jokes. I can’t even get a sympathy laugh with the tough crowds that are showing up. How about helping out a dying comedian and send me a good joke? I’m going to have to keep my day job.

Thanks to Scott Greenwold from Southern Wines for showing us some exceptional Australian wines and Karen Radke of “Cooling from the Heart” for pairing them with some wonderful food.

NOTICE! Root Down is back! Eugene & the guys will be back on Thursday, August 2nd at 6 PM. They will be playing a couple of sets so show up early.

One of our favorite customers and friend is raising money to go on the Arizona Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk in November. We are trying to help out by collecting donations for her. For a $20 donation we will give you a “Save the Boobies, Save the World” t-shirt. You can see the shirt hanging up in our shop.

Keep smiling,

Liza and Bob

Hi all,

Yes there will be a wine class this Friday, July 20th. Scott Greenwold from Southern Wines and Spirits will show us some really good Australian wines. These are all award winners with great ratings but still available at reasonable prices. Scott did tell me what they were but I did forgot where I wrote them down so you’ll have to show up to find out.

Karen Radke of Cooking From the Heart will be doing the food this week. Come by and see what she can do.

We have been having larger than expected crowds lately so we are limiting attendance to 45 guests. And yesterday we had exactly 45. Thanks so much for coming in but remember that a little laughter never hurt anyone.

Tomorrow only we will be having an unusual sale where a bunch of wines will be available at $5 each. Cash only and bring your own bag. Some were originally available at almost $30 and virtually all of them are for sale at below cost. There is a really nice mix of reds and whites. This will be a chance to stock up that wine cooler at the best prices ever. Tomorrow only.

Fine Wines And Facials was a lot of fun! Heather had her hands full with about 20 people but everyone seemed to have had a grand time. Thanks to you that attended and we will let you know when we will be doing it again.

Hi all,

There will be a wine class this Friday, July 13th. Simon from the Cape of Good Hope Wine Company is in town and going to show us some of his South African wines. I know there will be a really nice white we’ve had before called Angel Tears, a fine Pinot Noir and a big Cab from Hoopenburg. The other three will be a surprise to all of us. Simon knows the wines really well and is a fun presenter.

Liza is back doing the food this week. Karen Radke of Cooking From the Heart will be doing the food next week on the 20th.

We have been having larger than expected crowds lately so we are limiting attendance to 45 guests.

Last chance to join us for Fine Wines And Facials. Heather is going to do it this Thursday, July 12th at 6 PM. For $10 you get to do a wine tasting as you get a facial and a microdermabrasion skin treatment. Each time we have done this it has been a lot of fun. Contact Heather at 602 677-9535 to reserve your place.

Hi all,

There will NOT be a wine class this Friday, July 6th. We will be open regular days and regular hours except for the 4th so please stop by. Please drink responsibly.

We want to thank everyone that came by yesterday. The wines from Australia were good and we had a lot of fun. And our apologies to the few people that didn’t make it in. We are limiting attendance so that everyone can enjoy themselves. Thanks to Ron and Troy for doing the tag team presentation.

And we want to thank Entrees Made Easy for the wonderful food. They make dinner so much easier and are just around the corner from us. And Liza appreciated the day off. We’ve got some menus and some brochures from them at the counter so you can see what they do and how little it costs.

It has been awhile since we have done a Fine Wines And Facials so Heather is going to do it again on Thursday, July 12th at 6 PM. For $10 you get to do a wine tasting as you get a facial and a microdermabrasion skin treatment. Each time we have done this it has been a lot of fun. And each time we have had a few guys try it too. Contact Heather at 602 677-9535 to reserve your place.

There is a wine locker available if you need to store some of your overflow. They rent for $7/month and if you rent for a year you get your name on the plaque on the door.

Keep smiling,
