Hi all,
There will be a wine class this Friday, June 29th. Ron Feczko from Republic Beverage is going to take us to Australia with a couple of other wines to round out the class. We’ll do a Riesling, a clean Chard, a Shiraz and a Cab from Wynn’s with a nice white blend and a Pinot Noir to boot. There should be something for everyone and you’ll really enjoy the finger food this week too! Liza is off and a great new business called Entrees Made Easy is on.
The presentation will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class costs $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food in the valley at any wine tasting. This time the great food is going to be from Entrees Made Easy. They do all the work for you in preparing dinner. All you have to do is heat and eat. They’re going to give us a sample of what they can do.
You did it again! The Riesling class was beyond a sell out. Thanks to Lena for the wonderful wines and all that information about the wine regions and wine makers in Germany. And thanks to you for making it such a success.
Back by popular demand! It has been awhile since we have done a Fine Wines And Facials so Heather is going to do it again on Thursday, July 12th at 6 PM. For $10 you get to do a wine tasting as you get a facial and a microdermabrasion skin treatment. Each time we have done this it has been a lot of fun. And each time we have had a few guys try it too. Contact Heather at 602 677-9535 to reserve your place.
One of our favorite customers and friend is raising money to go on the Arizona Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk in November. We are trying to help out by collecting donations for her. For a $20 donation we will give you a “Save the Boobies, Save the World” t-shirt. You can see the shirt hanging up in our shop.
There are a couple of wine lockers available if you need to store some of your overflow. They rent for $7/month and if you rent for a year you get your name on the plaque on the door.
Keep smiling,
Liza and Bob

Hi all,
There will be a wine class this Friday, June 22nd. Lena from 4inWines is going to do all whites. We are going to start with a wonderful blend and a Gewürztraminer from Oregon then four Rieslings from Germany ranging from a Trokken to a pair of Spatlese. This is always a very popular night so plan to show up early if you want a seat or have a group.
The presentation will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class costs (thanks to Steve for pointing out the grammatical error) $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food in the valley at any wine tasting.

Hi all,
Bottom line this week is there will NOT be a wine class on June 15th. The boss is away on a cruise without me and I can’t do it myself or so I was told. But mark your calendars for June 22nd as that will be Lena’s night. She has the best Rieslings and a great Pinot Noir from Oregon too.
Thanks to everyone that came by last Friday for the wine class. Tony has some good wines and everyone seemed to have good time too.

Hi all,
Bottom line is THERE WILL BE A WINE CLASS ON JUNE 8th. It certainly hasn’t been a straight line in getting there but Tony from Billington Wines is going to show us some of their mostly South American wines. In a most unusual tasting we are going to try three chards, a cab and a Malbec. Since two of the chards are Chile and Argentina you will get to see what great fruit can taste like. Even the California version is great. The Chilean cab is great also and the Malbec is from Argentina, of course.

Thanks to everyone that came by last Friday for the wine class sponsored by Matt and Brian from Merrill Lynch. Our apologies to those that didn’t get in. The wines were good, the food was good and the times were good.
