Hi all,

We hope that everyone is (or has depending on when you view this message) enjoying the long weekend. And we hope you thought about why we are honoring this day.

On this Friday, June 1st we will be doing something special. I can tell you that Katie from Divine Wines will be doing the presentation and the initials M & L mean something. Part of the surprise is going to be the wines but I will tell you that there is going to be a couple of French wines as part of the evenings tasting.

The presentation will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. All the featured wines are 10% off. You get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food in the valley at any wine tasting.

For those of you that know Rene and are wishing her well in her battle with cancer, we are going to do a group picture of her friends for her at 7 PM on Tuesday evening, May 29th here at Cave Creek Wines. Since this “ain’t LA” we will try to have things ready so it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. Multi talented Rick Lord will will be the photographer.

There are a couple of wine lockers available if you need to store some of your overflow. Under the bed only works for so long. They rent for $7/month and if you rent for a year you get your name on the plaque on the door.

The trip to Paso Robles is full.

Keep smiling,

Liza and Bob

Hi all,

There will not be wine class on the 25th of May. We will be open thru the weekend so if you are in town please stop on by. We would love to see you.

I guess you now know that organic can be good. Thanks to everyone that cam to the wine class last Friday. We had a full house and most everybody got to sit down. And thanks to Tom for filling in for Jason to tell us about the Bonterra wines.

Mark your calendars for June 1st as we will be doing something special then. I can tell you that Katie from Divine Wines will be doing the presentation and the initials M & L mean something.

Hi all,

You want organic wines? We have had a number of people ask about organic so we are going to have organic wines from Bonterra in California this Friday. On May 18th we will feature the organic SB, Chard, Syrah, Cab, Zin and Merlot. Jason Benedict from Alliance will do the presentation. I’ve tried these wines and they are good!

The presentation will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Remember this “ain’t LA” (thank goodness) so don’t be late. The wine class cost $10 per person and all the featured wines are 10% off. For the money you get to try the wines during the wine class and compliment them with the best food in the valley at any wine tasting.

There will not be wine class on the 25th.

Weren’t the Ballentines great? Thanks to everyone that came in to meet and talk with them. And there were several that sold out so we will adding them to our inventory. And we have a few discount coupons to their winery if you are going to Napa soon.

Mark your calendars for June 1st as we will be doing something special then. I can tell you that Katie from Divine Wines will be doing the presentation but that is all for now.

Hi all,

Someday you will be old and you will better understand. Scott has arranged for the owners of a Napa Valley winery to be at our shop this Friday, May 11th. At least a half dozen times he has told me their names. And at least twice he has told me the wines we will be tasting. But all to no avail. I can’t find my notes and I don’t remember much. I think their name is Ballentine or something like that and what I do remember is that there was a nice cross section of wines. Be early as we will cut things off at 45 people, not that it has been a problem lately.

There is still room for you that want to go to Paso Robles with us in August. For $1060 per person you get round trip airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodations (double occupancy) for three nights (August 10, 11 & 12), wine tasting and touring, full breakfasts each day and lunches on Saturday and Sunday. We will need a deposit of $300 per person soon with the balance due by June 15th. I counted one person twice so there are actually two spaces left.

Keep smiling,

Liza and Bob
